It’s that time of year again! Time for Christmas cookies, peppermint bark, yule logs, and of course, Starbucks holiday drinks! Everyone has been anxiously awaiting for this time to come around again, and here at BT many are oh so joyful that these delectable treats have returned at last! Only a few drinks have made the list as the top holiday coffees after careful evaluation.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte is always one of the most popular drinks this time of year, starting around Halloween. It brings the perfect blend of pumpkin, spice, and everything nice. Junior Emily King gets the Pumpkin Spice every time she goes to Starbucks during this season. “I always get Pumpkin Spice. I enjoy it every time and don’t want to waste my money on something I could potentially be disappointed by. When it isn’t Pumpkin Spice season, I get a White Chocolate Frappuccino and it just isn’t as good as my Pumpkin Spice,” she said.

Also a favorite is the Gingerbread Latte. This is a very Christmas-y drink, and will no doubt put you in the holiday spirit. Gingerbread is something most of us only drink around Christmas-time, so it is a treat. Senior Jimmy Kelleher gets very excited about the Gingerbread Latte. “That thing is amazing! I feel like it’s something Buddy the Elf would drink. It really helps put me in the Christmas spirit,” he said.

Last, but not least, is the Peppermint Mocha. It is perhaps the drink with the most vibrant taste, and most recognizable. It combines the spice of peppermint with the sweetness of chocolate, and really is a Christmas tradition. Senior Connor Corcoran loves this drink, and it is the only coffee he will have during the Christmas season. “It’s like the Michael Jackson of coffee drinks. Smooth and unforgettable, a legend that will live forever in my mind,” he said.

These three drinks complete the top trifecta of holiday Starbucks coffees, and we here at BT hope for sure that Starbucks continue to provide us with these decadent treats.
