1. What is your favorite part of your job at BT? I like to get the kids interested in how the world actually works. I call it the physics show.

2. Do you have any funny and/or embarrassing childhood stories you could share?  I was playing soccer and got a ball to the face which gave me a bloody nose so I subbed out to get it taken care of. I go back in and right away the goalie kicked the ball to me. I go to trap the ball with my foot, mess up, and the ball bounces off of my foot up to my face which gives me another bloody nose and I had to go out again. I laughed and said “hey ref, I’m going out again.” He was like “what?” because you can’t just choose to go in or out but then he saw my face.

3. If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?  I would love to be able to teleport myself. Traveling would not cost anything; there would be no worrying about making flights or waiting in traffic.

Vanessa Necolettos–  attended the University of Florida and is currently working on her MED at Kennesaw State University.

1. What made you want to become a teacher at BT? When my husband and I moved here from South Florida, the first school we looked at for our daughters was Blessed Trinity. I fell in love with the school and knew this is where I wanted to teach for the rest of my career.

2. What is your favorite thing to do outside school? My favorite thing to do outside of school is to collect antiques. My husband and I have a small antique booth and it is something we enjoy to do together.

3. If you were an animal, what kind would you be and why? If I could be an animal I would be a bear! They sleep all winter and I do not like being cold! I am trying to get used to the winters in Georgia being from Florida.

1. What made you want to become a teacher at BT? I am a Blessed Trinity alumni and had a great experience here in high school. I thought it would be fun to come back and work with some of my old teachers. I also know that BT is a great school and wanted to come back to be a part of it again in a different way. Many teachers at BT had positive influences on my life and I wanted to do the same for current students at BT.

2. What is your favorite thing to do outside school? I really enjoy running and cooking. I ran a half marathon in New Orleans last year and loved it! I hope to do another one soon.

3. Do you have any funny and/or embarrassing stories from your childhood you could share?  When I was younger, I used to think the words to the end of the Star Spangled Banner were “home of the Braves” instead of “home of the brave.” I was a fan of the Braves from a young age and assumed all of America was, too.

Lucas Carr– attended the University of West Georgia and Kennesaw State University.

2. What clubs, organizations, and/or sports were you involved in when you went to high school? Football, baseball, and FBLA.

3. If you were an animal, what kind would you be and why? I would have to choose a lion as my animal of choice. I would much rather be at the top of the food chain.

2. What clubs, organizations, and/or sports were you involved in when you went to high school?  I was a four year member of the BT baseball program, where I was the winning pitcher in the decisive State Championship game in 2006. I also played football my freshman year, but due to unfortunate circumstances, my career as a punter ended after one year.

3. If you were an animal, what kind would you be and why? If I could be any animal, I would be a Bald Eagle. Being able to fly would be awesome, as well as being a symbol of America.
