February 2016 Nat’l Signing Day for BT

Wednesday was National Signing Day across the U.S. for collegiate athletes. Blessed Trinity had 10 students sign letters of intent to play soccer, baseball, and football. Players, coaches, parents, faculty, friends and relatives gathered in the Media Center to enjoy a photo session as well as the always delicious “signing cake” provided by the Athletic Department.

 

 

 

 

 

 

JMBertrandJohn Michael Bertrand

John Michael Bertrand. a BT senior, will be a preferred walk-on to play baseball with the Paladins of Furman University.  John Michael has been a member of the Titans for the past two years as pitcher and a significant player in the team’s 2014 and 2015 back-to-back state championships.

SMeyerScott Meyer

BT senior Scott Meyer will be a preferred walk-on at the University of Alabama to play football for the Crimson Tide.

During his three years starting as the long snapper  on the Titans varsity squad,  Scott was named Special Teams Player of the Year.

HLehmanHayden Lehman

Hayden Lehman. a BT senior, has signed a letter of intent to play baseball with the Senators at Walters State Community College, located in Morristown TN

For the past two year, Hayden has been a pitcher for the Titans and a significant player in the team’s 2014 and 2015 back-to-back state championships.

MCastnerMatthew Castner

Matthew Castner, a BT senior, has signed a letter of intent to play football for the Patriots at the University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg, KY.

As a Titan, Matthew spent four years on the varsity squad on the offensive line. During his career as a Titan, he was awarded numerous accolades including: Team MVP, 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-Region and 1st Team North Fulton County.

LCraigheadLogan  Craighead

BT senior Logan Craighead has signed a letter of intent to play football for the Bears at Mercer University located in Macon, Georgia.

Logan has been a member of the Titan’s varsity squad for three years and was the recipient of the school’s St. Sebastian Award, the AJC All-State Team, GWSA All-State Team and twice named to 4AAA All-Region.

EHamiltonElijah Hamilton

BT senior Elijah Hamilton has signed a letter of intent to play football for the Commodores at Vanderbilt University. Vanderbilt is located in Nashville, TN.

During his three years on the Titans varsity squad, Elijah played cornerback and was awarded the Defensive Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Region, and Honorable Mention All-State.

SPartonShane Parton

Shane Parton, a BT senior, has signed a letter of intent to play football for the Hatters at Stetson University. Stetson is located in DeLand, FL

As a Titan, Shane spent three years on the varsity squad as a defensive lineman and was named to the AJC  1st Team All-Region.

MSheltonMilton Shelton

BT Senior Milton Shelton has signed a letter of intent to play football for the Patriots at the University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg, KY.

Milton has been a member of the Titan’s varsity squad for four years as a running back. During those four years,  he was named  1st Team All- Region , AJC 1st Team All-State, GACA 1st Team All-State, The Touchdown Club of North Metro Player of the Year, The AJC North Fulton Player of the Year and  and GACA State Player of the Year.

ANoahAlleigh Noah

BT senior Alleigh Noah will be taking the field next year playing soccer for the Wolves of West Georgia University located in Carrolton, GA.

Alleigh has been a varsity midfielder for the Lady Titans the last two years.

BT senior Trei Schwartz has signed a letter of intent to play soccer for the Eagles at Georgia Southern in Stateboro, GA.

Trei has been a member of the Titan’s varsity squad for four years and was named captain his junior year.
