When spring semester concludes most college students summer plans include vacations, trips to the pool, and relaxation. For Angelica Baker, a Blessed Trinity Class of 2011 graduate, her summer plans last year were a little bit different. Angelica spent her summer months working at the NASA John C. Stennis Space Center. Angelica, who is a current Georgia Tech student, worked as a co-op student in the Center’s Engineering and Test Directorate. Angelica worked with rockets, was a test conductor on engine tests, and even met astronauts. Way to go Angelica!

On Saturday, January 4, Blessed Trinity hosted the 8th Annual Alumni Night during the girls and boys basketball games. This year, through a coordinated effort by alumni parent Kristen Scott and BT Alumni Director Patrick Hughes ’04 alumni as well as alumni parents were invited back on campus to partake in the festivities. Alumni and alumni parents were treated to two great games as the Lady Titans faced the Gladiators from Johns Creek High School while the boys took on the Tigers from Kings Ridge Christian School. We’d like to thank everyone who made it to the event and remind them that Once a Titan, Always a Titan. A special thanks goes out to Kate McWilliams ’03, Tammy and Kenny Braner (alumni parents of Brandon), Mike and Eileen Cunningham (alumni parents of Matt, Sean, and Danny), and Monica and Claude Lamour (alumni parents of Danielle and Jeanette) for helping host the event. It was great seeing so many alumni and alumni parents back on campus. We truly look forward to the event next year!
